About me

Hello everyone! My name is Erin Coull, I am seventeen years old and I live in Cape Town, South Africa. We are living in interesting times and South Africa has its own set of challenges and there is nothing I like more than challenge. So why not add to the challenge of everyday life and start a blog which I should update regularly and retain some semblance of normality?

Now this idea would never have crossed my mind a couple of years ago, as I did not enjoy writing, probably because of the tiresome essay topics we get at school. But after a while, my mom encouraged me to try writing about things I liked and I changed my mind about writing soon after that. So I am just going to give writing a go and see where it takes me.

I first wanted to write about fashion, as choosing outfits and buying clothes is one of my favourite pastimes apart from drinking tea and snuggling with my cat. That didn't work out because I don't think I could write that much about fashion and unfortunately, my budget did not agree with my wardrobe dreams. My cat also refused to get off me so there goes all those picture-perfect outfit photos. On another note, I realised that there are so many fields that I am interested in and it just makes sense for me to share some fun facets of my life.

I am passionate about sustainability and I am trying my best to reduce my impact on our planet. I love being outdoors, especially going hiking and swimming. I absolutely adore reading and many of my goals revolve around this hobby of mine. I enjoy experimenting with recipes but I have only recently started doing this so I am still learning. School also isn't as awful as it used to be so it is quite common for me to be working on various projects or studying in my free time. I also love to travel and I have been lucky enough to visit a few countries in Europe and go on many a road trip around South Africa.

These are just some of the topics that I am going to sharing on this blog so I hope you enjoy sharing them with me. Please add your comments and let's see where this goes!
